Alexander McQueen Heart Peeptoe Shoes

Step out in style with the Alexander McQueen Heart Peeptoe Shoes
The Alexander McQueen Heart Peeptoe Shoes are another outstanding design from the late designer. After his sudden and tragic passing it is understandable that some of his latest designs are getting more attention than ever and now is brilliant time to buy a piece of his history.
These stunning Alexander McQueen Heart Peeptoe Shoes are elegant and yet aggressive at the same time with their classic stiletto styling and striking black and bright yellow colour. These shoes have a sophisticated black patent design made of 100% genuine leather, complimented by their exceptional high-quality stitching and overall excellent finish. Each shoe has an incredible sharp and sexy 5” high stiletto heel with a piercing yellow soul. There is also the heart cut-away peeptoe which is unusual and witty a great twist on the classic peeptoe shoe. If you are looking for a fabulous stiletto shoe with that something special the Alexander McQueen Heart Peeptoe Shoes could definitely be for you. The price tag for these beauties may look steep but it will be an investment as these shoes will no doubt become collectors items in future years. They will look brilliant for work to add an edgy appeal to your outfit or they would be fabulous with a great pair of jeans on an evening out with your friends or family. However you choose to wear them you are sure to turn heads. The Alexander McQueen logo sits proudly on the inner-sole of the shoe too so you will never forget that you own such a top designer purchase.
Visit Browns online now and buy the Alexander McQueen Heart Peeptoe Shoes for £375.
Designer ankle boots - new season trend
October 4th, 2009
Ankle boots are everywhere this season - they’re sexy, stylish, and super glamorous. Perfect for anyone who isn’t quite sure about wearing thigh boots, this season’s ankle boots will update an existing outfit instantly. Just drag on your old skinny jeans and tuck them into your ankle boots, or wear your ankle boots with a denim mini and some ’80s-style lace leggings, or for night time with a simple sharp-shouldered LBD, and you’re done, fashion-wise.
Which is good as you’ll need all that money you’re saving on unneccesary fashion purchases to pay for taxis to take you everywhere (I said ankle boots were sexy, stylish and glamorous, I didn’t say they were comfy).
Actually there are some flat ankle boots around - but really, when faced with a choice between some expensive but descreet designer flatties and a pair of towering red-lined Alexander McQueen ankle boots, which would you choose? So go high this season and stop whingeing about your bunions, no-one cares.
Visit Matches Fashion for fabulous designer ankle boots by Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Chloe, Brian Atwood, Belle by Sigerson Morrison, David Wyatt, Rupert Sanderson, Yves Saint Laurent and more - or check out our favourite designer ankle boots, below.
Over the knee boots and thigh boots - new season trend
September 20th, 2009
Over the knee boots and thigh boots are this season’s biggest boot trend, so wear them with panache and be guaranteed new season fashion Brownie points (and probably a lot of stares in Waitrose).
Thigh high boots can be tricky to pull off - literally and figuratively. A flat black suede over the knee boot over your favourite skinny jeans would be a good way to ease yourself into this trend, though the coolest way to wear thigh boots - without bringing to mind the old Dolly Parton quote “it takes a lot of money to look this cheap” - is with a flirty pair of city shorts and black or coloured opaques.
Best designer bargain for over the knee boots? It has to be the Stella McCartney boots, below, for an amazingly reasonable £275 - that’s only £137.50 per boot! (Skint? Sarah’s money saving tip - buy a pair, split with a friend, and hop.)
Check out our favourite over the knee boots and thigh high boots from Rupert Sanderson, Chloe, Lanvin and Stella McCartney, below.
My new bag crush - the Vivienne Westwood Derby Yasmin plaid tote
September 13th, 2009
I have new best handbags like Lily Allen has new best friends. Not for me the classic but slightly battered black quilted Chanel, handed down from mother to daughter to granddaughter, only leaving the family to be sent off for a brush up and revamp every generation (do they end up like the old broom - “I’ve had this broom for 25 years, and in that time it’s had five new heads and five new handles”?).
No, I flit from bag to bag, and designer to designer, as my mood and my outfit takes me. (Sarah’s money saving tip: it may sound like I spend a fortune on designer bags - I don’t, as I see one I love, then swoon over it for a couple of days wondering whether to buy it and live on beans for two months, by which time I have got bored with that bag and moved on to the next one. And so the cycle continues, without ever disturbing my bank account while leaving me feeling smug at my bag-related ontrendness.)
Anyway my current bag crush is this pretty plaid Derby Yasmin large tote bag from Vivienne Westwood Accessories - with a green, purple and pink plaid pattern, and over the arm carry handles, this large tote also has gold orb studs on the base and the handles. The tote is lined with an orb print fabric and there is a phone pouch and zipped pocket. Vivienne Westwood large plaid tote is £333 and measure 40cm by 33cm by 18cm. Buy it now at My Wardrobe.
This pretty and colourful Vivienne Westwood Accessories plaid bag also makes a change from the admittedly stylish but (whisper it) rather gloomy designer bags currently doing the rounds - black, grey, tan, brown, with the occasional splash of purple or red. (Note to bag designers - we know autumn during a recession is dull and miserable, we don’t need you reminding us).
Ballet flats and loafers for summer city living
June 9th, 2009
Heels are great - super sexy, glamorous, height-adding and with brilliant optical illusional properties if you have enormous feet like me (feet in high heels never look massive). Sadly many styles are also fabulously impractical if you have to actually walk anywhere (I have probably spent more being rescued by black cabs when sporting luscious heels than I have on the actual shoes themselves).
So what about flat shoes? <stops typing to pick up fainting designer-heel-loving friend off floor at first frightening mention of FLAT SHOES>
Okay, so flats may not be as full-on glamorous as a pair of embellished stillettos but they are perfect for running around the city, particularly in summer - without the grubby toe syndrome that sandals and flipflops cause, and ideal when the weather goes from sunshine to torrential rain in the blink of an eye. Oh, and they hide all those plaster-covered heels and toes caused by wearing those new designer summer sandals for the first time. They are also super-cute.
So if you are after some flat shoes here are some of my favourites from the range of designer ballet flats and designer loafers around this season. Or check out Matches Fashion’s fabulous designer shoe ranges here.
Lanvin travel ballerinas - designer style without pain!
June 6th, 2009
Just because it’s 2am and you’re waiting for a night bus doesn’t mean you can let your fashion guard down! And you don’t have to accept crippling post-party stiletto agony either.
These are the famous Lanvin travel ballerinas in pink or blue - perfect for getting home after a night out in heels, without losing any designer points. Or slip into them during your holiday flight (we all pray for an upgrade to Business Class but they’d certainly bring some style to the - whisper it - Economy cabin too). These Lanvin travel ballerinas be folded up and kept in their drawstring bag, then just pop them in your handbag or hand luggage. See the rest of the post, below, for pictures and more info.

(I say gorgeous, and it is - though if it is camouflage presumably no one else can actually see it? Won’t they assume it’s a pot plant, or a small tree?)
